By contacting us, booking a service, or using our website, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must refrain from using our Services.

2. Scope of Services

Brisbane Reptile Relocations provides professional snake, reptile and fauna capture, removal, relocation, and consultation services across Brisbane and surrounding regions.

Our catchers are fully licensed, experienced professionals holding relevant wildlife handling and dangerous animal permits under Queensland law.

2.1 Standard Services

Our core services include:

  • Snake and reptile identification, capture, and relocation

  • Emergency and after-hours callouts

  • Property inspections for wildlife presence or access points

  • Preventative advice for reducing snake encounters

  • Educational tools, safety information, and more

2.2 Limitations

We do not provide pest control, structural repair, or extermination services.

We do not guarantee the permanent absence of snakes after a relocation.

Services may be refused or modified due to unsafe conditions, weather, property access issues, or legal limitations. We reserve the right to decline services for any reason.

3. Licensing and Legal Compliance

Brisbane Reptile Relocations operates in full compliance with:

  • Nature Conservation Act 1992 (Qld)

  • Nature Conservation (Wildlife Management) Regulation 2006

  • Animal Care and Protection Act 2001 (Qld)

All handlers hold the appropriate qualifications and permits as required by the Queensland Department of Environment, Science and Innovation (DESI).

All animals are handled humanely and relocated according to ethical and legislative standards.

4. Call-Outs, Fees, and Payments

4.1 Call-Out Charges

A standard call-out fee applies to every service request, including cases where the snake is not found upon arrival. This fee covers travel, inspection, and professional expertise.

4.2 Additional Fees

Additional charges may apply for:

  • After-hours or public holiday attendance

  • Long-distance travel beyond standard service zones

  • Multiple animals or extended time on site

  • Specialised equipment use or site inspections

All additional fees will be communicated where practical before proceeding.

4.3 Payment Terms

  • Payment is due at the time of service, unless otherwise arranged.

  • Accepted payment methods include: cash, transfer, online payment.

  • Invoices to be paid immediately unless otherwise agreed.

  • Repeated non-payment may result in referral to a collection agency.

5. Cancellations and Rescheduling

If you wish to cancel or reschedule, please contact us immediately.

If a relocation specialist has already been dispatched at the time of cancellation, the full call-out fee may still apply.

Repeated cancellations or false callouts may result in refusal of future services.

6. Property Access and Safety

Clients must ensure:

  • Safe, lawful, and unobstructed access to the property.

  • Pets and children are secured during attendance.

  • All instructions provided by our relocation specialists are followed for safety reasons.

If unsafe conditions exist (including aggressive animals, hazards, or trespass concerns), the handler may withdraw, and the callout fee may still apply.

7. Wildlife Handling and Relocation Policy

All reptiles and animals are handled using humane, low-stress techniques in accordance with Queensland wildlife legislation and permit conditions.

Captured animals are relocated to appropriate, pre-approved release sites that comply with regulatory guidelines.

Release locations are not disclosed to the public to protect both the animal and the surrounding ecosystem.

8. No Guarantee of Snake Absence

While every reasonable effort is made to capture and remove the reptile identified, we cannot guarantee:

  • That additional reptiles are not present, or

  • That snakes will not return to the area in the future.

Snakes are part of the natural environment, and reoccurrence can happen. We will, however, provide expert advice on preventative measures to reduce future encounters.
